Indian Symposium on
Advancements in Chemical science 2026

About

The Frontiers in ChemTech, under ISAC 2026, is an undergraduate student-run symposium organised under the Department of Chemistry, IISER TIRUPATI. The symposium is to be conducted from May 9th to 10th, 2026. It aims to broaden the perspective of students by highlighting both basic chemistry research and its transition into impactful technologies. With an emphasis on rapidly advancing areas such as AI/ML in Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Energy Materials and Green Chemistry, the symposium encourages students to explore different fields and support national progress through meaningful contributions towards Indian society.

Abstract submissions and attendee registration have been closed.

Motivation

As interdisciplinary research is advancing rapidly in India, our symposium wants to provide a national platform for young researchers to interact with academicians and industry professionals, thereby promoting collaborations in the field of Chemistry. We want engineering students to understand how fundamental research works, while giving students from academia exposure to practical applications. Recognising this, the symposium is founded on the belief that significant innovation emerges at the intersection of academic research and applied engineering.
